In a swirl of elegance, Daystar Athi River Campus recently hosted an extraordinary event dubbed, EmpowHer. An empowerment event intended to celebrate womanhood, the event which was held at the Amphitheater was organized by the Daystar Ladies Fellowship from both the Athi River and Nairobi campuses.

The event saw a sea of strong, confident women, gathered under one roof, united by a common purpose – to uplift and empower each other. . The theme of the all-ladies event was: "God is within her, she will not fall," drawn from Psalms 46:5, set the tone for a day filled with enlightenment, encouragement, and empowerment.

The event was nothing short of spectacular, with a line up of powerhouse speakers ready to pour wisdom and inspiration into the eager hearts of attendees. The Managing Director of Finebridge Associates Limited, Dr. Anne Kimari, took to the stage as the main speaker, delivering pearls of wisdom on navigating the workplace with grace and excellence. "Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well," she declared, setting the bar high for every woman in the room.

But the inspiration did not end there. Pastor Julia Korir addressed the delicate yet critical topic of wounds and healing, while Mrs. Jemimah Aoko provided a thought-provoking commentary on the event's theme. And who can forget the incredible journey of Ms. Nicole Agutu, a Daystar alumna turned successful entrepreneur who shared her secrets to success in the marketplace?

The event was structured to maximize impact and engagement, with sessions ranging from presentations to panel discussions, interspersed with moments of reflection and fellowship. Interactive activities like speed dating added a fun twist, fostering connections and camaraderie among attendees.

Representatives from Garissa University and African Nazarene University added to the diverse tapestry of voices, enriching the conversation and expanding horizons.

As the day came to a close, hearts were full, minds were energized, and spirits were high.

EmpowHer had accomplished its mission: to ignite a spark of inspiration, to foster a supportive community, and to remind every woman in attendance of her innate strength and potential.  The event was more than just an event; it was a movement, a beacon of hope, and a celebration of women's incredible ability to change the world, one empowered step at a time.
