Daystar University receives visiting Professors

On August 4, 2022, Daystar University received two visiting professors from two American universities. Prof. Dale Johnson from the University of Maryland and Prof. LeAnn Johnson from Shepard’s University will teach in the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Arts and Social Sciences respectively, during the August/December 2022 semester.

On August 4, 2022, Daystar University received two visiting professors from two American universities.
Prof. Dale Johnson from the University of Maryland and Prof. LeAnn Johnson from Shepard’s University will teach in the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Arts and Social Sciences respectively, during the August/December 2022 semester.
They were received by the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro at the Main Campus Athi River. Accompanying the Vice-chancellor was the DVC Academic, Research and Student Affairs Prof. Faith Nguru, Director of Research and Graduate Studies, Sr. Prof. A.L. Lando, the Dean School of Business and Economics Dr. Evans Amata, the Dean School of Arts and Social Sciences Rev. Dr. Patrick Musembi, the Head of Commerce department Mr. Joseph Munyao, Head of Education department Mr. Joab Namai, Corporate Affairs Manager, Mrs. Damaris Kimilu, Senior Administrative Officer Mr. Boaz Bichage and several other administrative staff.
Prof. Dale Johnson is particularly interested in Agriculture and Daystar looks forward to sharing from his expertise in Agriculture, especially in poultry farming at the recently launched University Poultry project. To this end, the first 500 birds will be received on Monday 15, 2022.
Sr. Prof Lando also enticed the two professors to participate in research and conferences organized by the University, particularly in the NACOSTI conference scheduled for September 28- 30, 2022.
