On Wednesday 19th June, the Chairman of the University Council, Prof. George Njoroge visited Daystar University Main Campus Athi River, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Esther Njoroge.

On Wednesday 19th June, the Chairman of the University Council, Prof. George Njoroge visited Daystar University Main Campus Athi River, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Esther Njoroge. They were received by Company and Council Secretariat staff, Ms. Patricia Wambua, the Ag. Campus Services Manager, Ms. Sonia Mutende, and Mr. Boaz Bichage from the Planning Office.

The Council Chair and his wife were given a guided tour of the Main Campus, including a visit to the Founder, Rev. Dr. Donald Smith, and the David Musau Mumama Learning Complex (DMMLC), which is under construction. Prof. Njoroge was greatly impressed by the progress of the project.

The couple also visited the Heroes Corner, the School of Nursing skills labs, Agape Library, the poultry and livestock projects.

Prof. Njoroge’s visit to Daystar University coincided with a workshop at the School of Nursing.

Speaking to the participants, Prof. Njoroge said “Nursing is a core aspect in medicine, Daystar University aims to [equip] Christ-centred and professional nurses.”
