Daystar University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Laban Ayiro travelled to the US on Friday 19th January to attend the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU 2024) Presidents Conference at Washington, DC. In addition to the Conference, the VC has been engaged with Friends-raising and Fund-Raising activities and travelling to different States as well as holding Strategic meetings.
Upon arrival, VC attended Service on Sunday 21st January at 1st Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
His next engagement was at Taylor University where he was hosted by the President of Taylor, Michael Lindsay. He also had an opportune chance to meet with the Taylor University Cabinet (Senate) on Tuesday 23rd Jan 2024.
At the CCCU Conference, a special luncheon organized for International Affiliate presidents took place on Wednesday 24th to begin the conference, at The Hilton Potomac Room. This luncheon enables international VCs to meet other international affiliate presidents and to meet some of the CCCU leadership.
Beyond attending a profound conference where all Christian Presidents meet Annually, VC also had moments with already established relations and partners like President of CCCU Shirley V. Hoogstra, immediate former President of University of Northwestern Alan Cureton, President of Wheaton College Graham Ryken, among others.
Prof. Laban Ayiro finishes his trip in Boston, Massachusetts where strategic meetings are being held as we pray for God to open doors for him to connect with right partners.
